Videographer and Multimedia Editor
Job Description
The videographer and editor actively collaborates and engages with staff to execute projects. They serve as a graphic designer, audio engineer, shooter, and editor to create video content for online programs
Hours
Work hours range from 8-15 hours a week, depending on workload. Possible evening or weekend work hours. Some work-at-home hours. More hours possible depending on skillset for web design, social media, and print.
Qualifications
- Degree in Film, Communication, similar field is required or a minimum of 2 years of production experience
- Must have a fundamental understanding of video and audio editing
- Understanding of basic computer network concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Able to use Sling Studio and video editing software
- Attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Pre-Production and production.
- Setting the Studios before any recording session
- Camera operator/sound mixer/gaffer and grip during the recording sessions
- Utilizing multiple cameras for recording
- Live streaming to Facebook/Youtube when requested
Additional skills desired but not required:
- Web designer, social media management
- Ability to take a concept from idea to launch
- Able to create and launch email, social media campaigns
- Mastery of Mail Chimp, Google Apps, Microsoft Office
- Creative and an excellent communicator and strong writer
- Graphic design for print publications and online publications
