Videographer and Multimedia Editor

Job Description

The videographer and editor actively collaborates and engages with staff to execute projects.  They serve as a graphic designer, audio engineer, shooter, and editor to create video content for online programs

Hours

Work hours range from 8-15 hours a week, depending on workload. Possible evening or weekend work hours. Some work-at-home hours. More hours possible depending on skillset for web design, social media, and print.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Film, Communication, similar field is required or a minimum of 2 years of production experience
  • Must have a fundamental understanding of video and audio editing
  • Understanding of basic computer network concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • Able to use Sling Studio and video editing software
  • Attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Pre-Production and production.
  • Setting the Studios before any recording session
  • Camera operator/sound mixer/gaffer and grip during the recording sessions
  • Utilizing multiple cameras for recording
  • Live streaming to Facebook/Youtube when requested

Additional skills desired but not required:

  • Web designer, social media management
  • Ability to take a concept from idea to launch
  • Able to create and launch email, social media campaigns
  • Mastery of Mail Chimp, Google Apps, Microsoft Office
  • Creative and an excellent communicator and strong writer
  • Graphic design for print publications and online publications
