October 8-17, 2023
On this unique pilgrimage to the Holy Land we will both walk in the footsteps of Jesus and endeavor to walk where he would walk today as we explore the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the posture of peacemakers. We will hear from a wide spectrum of voices across Israeli and Palestinian society. We will visit ancient holy sites as well as experience the vastly different realities of Jewish, Christian, and Muslim communities in the midst of a conflict zone, and how those differences present both opportunities and obstacles for peacemaking. We will also learn from those doing the work of justice, healing and reconciliation and learn how to better embrace Jesus’ call to be peacemakers in our own discipleship journey.
