We look forward to being part of your unforgettable celebration!

Planning Your Wedding at our Church

We’re honored that you’re considering celebrating your special day with us! To help ensure everything goes smoothly, we kindly ask that you submit your building use request in writing through the church office at least 6 months before your wedding date.

As part of the process, we’ll also have you complete a Marriage Information Form, which helps us get to know you better and support you in your journey. This form is also due at least 6 months in advance.
Times for weddings are on Saturdays: 11:00AM, 1:30PM, and 4PM. Please confer with the church office regarding weddings. Times for ceremonies on other days of the week can be coordinated with the church office.

Celebrating with Support: Pastor, Coordinator & Music

A DeWitt Community Church pastor will officiate your ceremony and meet with you 3–4 times for premarital preparation and planning. If you'd like the pastor to attend your rehearsal dinner or reception, please send a formal invitation at least 45 days in advance.

A church-provided wedding coordinator will be there on your big day to assist with the ceremony, guide participants, coordinate with vendors, and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Music is a meaningful part of your celebration. Please submit your selections 4 weeks before the wedding for approval by the Director of Worship Arts. Church-approved accompanists may perform using church instruments.

We’re here to help make your day joyful and seamless!

Flowers, Décor, & Rehearsal Details

We welcome your personal touch in decorating for your special day! Please have your florist connect with the wedding coordinator before setting up. Flowers must be in clean, rust-free, leak-proof containers, and existing church plants may not be moved without approval.

To keep our space beautiful, dripless candles with protective bases are allowed, but not on the organ, piano, or wood surfaces. Please avoid nails, tacks, or anything that could cause damage. Use of tape or pins must be pre-approved by the coordinator.

Your wedding rehearsal will be led by the officiating pastor. Everyone with a role in the ceremony—wedding party, family, musicians, and readers—should attend and follow the pastor’s direction to ensure a smooth and joyful celebration.
