Gloria earned her Bachelors of Music degree from Georgia State University in Music Education with an emphasis in Choral Conducting. She holds a State of Georgia Teacher Certification, and is also certified in Orff-Schulwerk and Musikgarten.
Gloria’s husband Uwe is a marketing manager at Anaren Microwave. He plays guitar, drums, and sings. Gloria and Uwe have a daughter, Cecilia, who was just married to Adam, in Atlanta on May 4, 2016. Cecilia is a musician as well and earned a Masters of Music Theory degree from the Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University. She teaches viola, violin and piano.
A faithful musician, Gloria is eager to serve God in fulfilling the vision and mission of Dewitt Community Church as director of children’s music.
