Rev. Cynthia Mapstone
Formerly the senior pastor of the Fabius Christian Church, Cindy grew up in Central New York, graduated from Bishop Grimes High School and received her Bachelor Degree in Accounting from the University of Scranton. After over a decade of working in the financial arena, she took time to be a full-time wife and mother. During that session of life, God opened many opportunities to serve in church work ultimately leading her to receive her Masters of Divinity Degree from Northeastern Seminary in Rochester, NY. She is currently back in seminary working towards her Doctor of Ministry degree concentrating on Spiritual Formation. She also serves as a per-diem patient advocate at St. Joseph’s Hospital Emergency Department meeting the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of patients. She is married to her husband Mark, an agricultural business consultant and they reside in Cazenovia, New York with their three daughters, one dog and two cats. Her hobbies include swimming, boating, knitting, and crocheting. She is an avid fan of Syracuse University Sports and the New York Yankees. Her favorite music includes, but is not limited to Queen, Stevie Wonder and Billy Joel.
