Let us join together in prayer

Dear Gracious Father…
You are the creator of all life. You opened your loving hand and filled all living things with plenty. And we are so grateful.
You have entrusted us to be stewards of your creation. And that is a monumental responsibility. Help us to realize that when You call us, You do not hand us a well-planned itinerary, but simply tell us to GO….to take a step of faith. And that you will walk with us along the way on our journey. Please give each of us the ability to determine what our gifts are and what our passion is. We all want to give back to the world, our community, and our church, but sometimes we just don’t know where to start.
Let each of us use this new year to re-commit to being good stewards of your kingdom. Help us to not feel overwhelmed and pulled in a million different directions, but through prayer and meditation find ways that we can make small changes in where we give and how we use our talents. Let those changes multiply and grow as we give and serve. Let the sacrifices that each of us makes be a way to help us clear away the clutter in our lives and see you more clearly.

Loving God, we pray for those who are in our prayer and care list and are each facing significant personal challenges. Lord, we give special thanks today for our mission of the month, Honor Flight Syracuse. Their amazing work supports our local veterans to travel to Washington DC and help reflect on their memorials. What a powerful ministry and mission to support our heroes who have given so much to our country. God, you are so good!

Loving Father, forgive us for those things we have done which have caused you sadness, and for those things that we should have done that would have brought you joy. Bring us back to that place where our journey began when we said we would follow…
